Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Armaghast Industries (“Tellumia,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Tellumia mobile app and related services (the “Service”).
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and we store authentication data (such as session tokens and email verification status). For security and abuse prevention, our servers temporarily process an IP address for rate limiting. Routine request logs contain a request identifier, route, response status, duration, and, when signed in, your user identifier; they do not contain story text.
Story content and preferences
We store the content you create and the choices used to create it, including:
- Story titles, summaries, and generated text;
- Generation inputs you provide — audience, genre, length, tone, age range, language, character, setting, theme, lesson, and topics to avoid;
- Multi-chapter series and their continuity memory (characters, world notes, open and resolved plot threads);
- Library organization such as favorites, collections/shelves, and saved story profiles.
- Generated cover images and the cover option you select.
- Reports you submit about generated stories or cover images, including the reason and any optional details you provide.
Subscription information
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app stores and by our billing provider, RevenueCat. We receive and store subscription status, product identifiers, and purchase/expiration dates, along with your usage counts (for example, stories generated within a billing period). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
On-device data
Narration (text-to-speech) is produced on your device, and stories you download for offline reading are cached locally on your device. Your login session is stored using your device’s secure storage.
Analytics and tracking
Tellumia does not currently use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. If we add analytics or crash reporting in the future, we will update this policy and our app-store data disclosures before doing so.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To generate the stories and series you request;
- To manage your account, subscription, and usage limits;
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse;
- To investigate and respond to generated-content safety reports;
- To respond to your support requests and communicate with you.
AI processing and third parties
To create stories and cover art, we send the generation inputs needed for the request (and, for series, relevant continuity memory) to our AI provider. We currently use:
- xAI (Grok) for story text and cover image generation — provider privacy policy
Other providers that help us operate the Service include:
- RevenueCat for subscription and purchase processing — provider privacy policy
- Cloudflare for transactional email delivery and private cover image storage — provider privacy policy
Our infrastructure provider hosts the API and PostgreSQL database. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.
Data retention
We retain your account and story data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. The deletion audit keeps request and completion timestamps, but its copy of your email address is removed when the purge completes. We also instruct RevenueCat to delete the customer record identified by your Tellumia user ID; Apple may retain store transaction records under its own policies and legal obligations.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Delete your data page. To exercise other rights, contact us at [email protected].
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete it.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the service providers described above. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
